The OYOFE Beginner Camp was born from one simple truth: our culture deserves to be shared, understood, and experienced by everyone.
Too often, African dances are seen only on screens and can feel difficult… beautiful, powerful, but distant.
We created this space so that anyone, regardless of level or background, can step inside the circle not as a spectator, but as part of the community.

This camp is not just about steps and grooves.
It’s about understanding where those movements come from, the people behind them, and the values they carry:
joy, resistance, spirituality, unity.
Each style: Azonto, Afrohouse, Ndombolo, Coupé Décalé, Amapiano, and many more ..tells a story of resilience and celebration, of transformation and pride.

Through the Beginner Camp, we aim to:
